Attic Conversion
Collaboration by Howards Storage World and The Attic Group
Use your roof space
There is plenty of space that we aren’t even aware of in our homes. If you have a pitched roof, there is the ability to create an extra room or storage space if you use your roof space. We often don’t think of storing things in the roof, we think of it as a dark, unsafe, dusty, damp and hard to get to. Think of an attic conversion, with a little expert advice, you will be amazed at the potential storage.
Howards got together with The Attic Group and Professional Organiser Anita Birges to convert the attic space in a top story apartment.
With the pull down stairs, flooring and lining installed, Anita Birges shows you how to get the space organised with Howards. The owner was thrilled with the result!
Attic Conversion Options
- A basic attic storage package that includes flooring laid on battens and a ladder; or
- Take it to the next level by making your attic dust-proof by wrapping the room with an insulated white-cell membrane lining. We install framing to provide adequate structure, 450mm high kickboards, roof space access door, lighting and smoke detector.
Why Dust-Proof Your Attic Space?
Basic attic storage offers you a very cost effective solution to give you more room for storage, however upgrading to a dust-proof solution makes the space lighter, brighter and much more functional for storing your valuables properly.
Your stored items will last longer, your attic will be easier to keep clean and the space more pleasant to use on a regular basis. Plus, it will add significant value to your home.
Good storage is about utilising every available space.
Stairs to the attic, created easy access to the storage room.
Howards Easi-Store Tubs are a great way to archive and protect items in storage.
easy-build shelving is component based so you can assemble it where you want is and can make almost any configuration.
