Across Australia families are battling a clutter crisis and desperately need an intervention. Declutter guru Peter Walsh, renovation queen Cherie Barber and treasure hunter Lucas Callaghan transform peoples’ homes and lives in the new program SPACE INVADERS.

SPACE INVADERS – EPISODE 1
Julie and Peter are empty nesters who’ve let their clutter grow out of control. As each child grew up & left home, they’ve left belongings behind with memories that Julie is struggling to let go. The family home was passed down from Julie’s parents with Cherie giving it a much needed facelift to brighten up the next phase of Julie and Pete’s life.
Life can be overwhelming for people, especially when they’re a single parent raising a 15-year old. Liza has recently started working from home and is surrounded by clutter in numerous parts of her rental property, making it less than ideal.

There are different types of clutters & Kashmira is a great example of what’s called a’behind closed doors’ clutterer. She is house proud but when you open the drawers of her kitchen, stuff literally falls out! She has multiples of everything including 5 icecream makers, 15 spatulas, countless dinner sets and is happy to explain it as “a big difference between the same and similar”.
Jamie is a super bubbly single woman who lives in a fourth floor city apartment.
Clutter is currently her enemy. It currently extends from her downstairs living space area, all the way up her stairs into her smaller mezzanine loft bedroom. Having accepted the fact that what was once a smart investment property, will now likely become her forever home. Can Jaime let go of her things holding her back?
